Beneficios económicos de la carretera Interoceánica

Abstract

El presente libro presenta los beneficios que se estima producirá la construcción y operación de la carretera Interoceánica sobre la Macro Región Sur, para lo cual previamente presenta de manera detallada la metodología utilizada. La estimación de los beneficios considera tanto los beneficios directos de un proyecto de transporte, es decir, el ahorro en los costos operativos vehiculares y la reducción de los tiempos de viaje de las personas, así como los beneficios indirectos, calculados a partir del excedente del productor que se obtiene de un modelo macroeconómico que muestra los resultados de la construcción y operación de la carretera sobre la producción nacional, regional y sectorial.
