Efectos Macroeconómicos del Acuerdo de Libre Comercio con los Estados Unidos

Abstract

En el documento se analiza la evolución histórica, durante el último siglo, del comercio entre el Perú y los Estados Unidos; y se realiza una revisión de los dos principales modelos computables de equilibrio general (CGE, por sus siglas en inglés), para estimar los efectos del tratado de libre comercio (TLC), destacando los supuestos en los que se basan. Asimismo, se presenta un CGE a nivel agregado que servirá para realizar la estimación de los efectos económicos en el Perú de un eventual TLC con los Estados Unidos, centrándose en el ámbito de la actividad económica, el equilibrio fiscal y el sector externo.
