Das Zielbild des Arbeitsmarktmoduls im Registerzensus

Abstract

Der Umstieg auf einen Registerzensus bedeutet, auch die Angaben zur Arbeitsmarktbeteiligung der Gesamtbevölkerung künftig rein registerbasiert zu ermitteln. In Deutschland gibt es derzeit keine Datenquelle, welche alle arbeitsmarktrelevanten Personengruppen abdeckt. Daher werden zur Ermittlung des Erwerbsstatus sowie der weiteren Arbeitsmarktmerkmale verschiedene Datenbestände benötigt, um möglichst alle Personengruppen und deren Arbeitsmarktbeteiligung zu erfassen. Das Arbeitsmarktmodul steht dabei vor einer Reihe methodischer Herausforderungen: Unter anderem ist es notwendig, Daten aus verschiedenen Quellen auf Einzelpersonenebene zusammenzuführen sowie allgemein gültige und plausible Regeln zur Festlegung der jeweiligen Haupttätigkeit zu entwickeln.
