Konzeption eines Statistischen Bildungsverlaufsregisters in Deutschland – Entwicklungen bis 2023 und Ausgestaltungsoptionen

Abstract

Mit dem Aufbau eines Bildungsverlaufsregisters in Deutschland soll eine bildungsbereichsübergreifende statistische Datenbasis geschaffen werden, die zum einen Bildungsverlaufsanalysen ermöglicht, zum anderen Bildungsangaben für den registerbasierten Zensus bereitstellen kann. Die Statistischen Ämter des Bundes und der Länder haben dazu gemeinsam ein Zielbild für ein Bildungsverlaufsregister im Verbund (BVR-V) entwickelt. Der Beitrag greift dieses Zielbild auf und stellt zunächst das Potenzial des BVR-V sowie seine rechtlichen und politischen Rahmenbedingungen vor. Anschließend schildert der Artikel den möglichen Aufbau und die Funktionsweise des BVR-V und gibt einen Ausblick auf die nächsten Schritte zur Realisierung des Projekts.
