Eine zukunftsfähige Bautätigkeitsstatistik

Abstract

Die Bautätigkeitsstatistik steht vor großen Herausforderungen: Die derzeitige Bundesregierung hat den Neubau von jährlich 400 000 Wohnungen als Regierungsziel festgelegt und hierfür ein Bündnis für bezahlbaren Wohnraum ins Leben gerufen. Aktuell liegen für das Monitoring dieses Regierungsziels während einer Legislaturperiode lediglich drei Jahresergebnisse der Baufertigstellungsstatistik vor. Damit ist die laufende Beobachtung der Entwicklung und der Auswirkungen von politischen Maßnahmen nur eingeschränkt möglich. Der Beitrag beschreibt den Handlungsbedarf, der sich auf verschiedenen Themenfeldern ergibt, benennt die Akteure und zeichnet eine umfassende Vision für eine zukunftsfähige Bautätigkeitsstatistik.
