Gegenseitige Anerkennung des AEO-Status

Abstract

Der Status des Zugelassenen Wirtschaftsbeteiligten (Authoriszed Economic Operator) wurde mit der VO (EG) Nr. 648/2005, der sog. kleinen Zollkodex-Reform eingeführt, um die weltweite Lieferkette sicherer zu machen. Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil – die gegenseitige Anerkennung der AEO-Standards und –Zertifikate aus und in Drittländern war bislang nicht möglich. Seit Mitte 2009 gibt es nun erstmals die gegenseitige Anerkennung der Sicherheitsstandards mit der Schweiz, Liechtenstein und Norwegen. Dieser Beitrag stellt die Hintergründe und die Zukunft der AEO-Anerkennung dar.
