Schwache Baukonjunktur belastet die Wirtschaftsentwicklung

Abstract

Österreichs BIP stagnierte im IV. Quartal 2022, nachdem es im Vorquartal nur mehr um 0,1% gewachsen war. Ab Herbst 2022 hatten sich sowohl die Einschätzungen der Unternehmen zur aktuellen Geschäftslage als auch die Erwartungen etwas aufgehellt. Die letzten Umfragen des WIFO-Konjunkturtests ergaben dagegen keine weitere Verbesserung. In der Bauwirtschaft schrumpft die Wertschöpfung seit dem III. Quartal mit zunehmender Dynamik.
