2019 neuerlich Einkommensrückgang in der Landwirtschaft. Österreichs Land- und Forstwirtschaft im Jahr 2019 im Kontext von 25 Jahren EU-Mitgliedschaft

Abstract

Im Jahr 2019 verzeichnete die Landwirtschaft neuerlich einen Rückgang der Faktoreinkommen, nachdem in den Jahren 2016 und 2017 Zuwächse verzeichnet worden waren. Der Wert der Erzeugung des landwirtschaftlichen Wirtschaftsbereiches nahm leicht zu. Die Einkommenseinbußen sind auf hohe Produktionskosten und hohe Abschreibungen zurückzuführen. Der Außenhandel mit Agrargütern wurde neuerlich ausgeweitet, und zwar im Export etwas stärker als im Import. Österreich blieb aber Nettoimporteur von Agrargütern. In der Forstwirtschaft war 2019 neuerlich ein größerer Anteil des Holzeinschlages auf Schadereignisse zurückzuführen. Dies setzte auch die Preise unter Druck. Die nun 25 Jahre währende EU-Mitgliedschaft brachte mit der Gemeinsamen Agrarpolitik erhebliche Umwälzungen mit sich.
