Erhöhte Unsicherheit dämpft Konjunktur. Prognose für 2012 und 2013

Abstract

Nach einer unerwartet kräftigen Expansion zu Jahresbeginn ist der Ausblick für die österreichische Wirtschaft zunehmend gedämpft. Die Konjunktur hat sich deutlich abgeschwächt, doch ist sie angesichts der Rezession im Euro-Raum als verhältnismäßig gut zu bezeichnen. Die vorlaufenden Indikatoren deuten für die nächsten Monate auf eine träge Entwicklung hin. Vor diesem Hintergrund prognostiziert das WIFO für 2012 ein Wachstum von 0,6%. 2013 sollte sich die Dynamik leicht verstärken (BIP +1,0%). Die Arbeitslosigkeit wird trotz steigender Beschäftigung zunehmen.
