Abstract

The rise of digital technologies is completely changing the established standards for paid employment and the relationship between employers and employees. On this basis, corporate social responsibility is a key factor for the social well-being of the employees. Moreover, digitalisation also createsopportunities for social irresponsibility or attempts to transfer the responsibility to third parties or to the workers themselves. Therefore, the focus of this research is on discovering new opportunities for socially responsible business behavior in the digital economy and opportunities to counteract potential areas of irresponsibility.
