Abstract

Le 9 octobre 2023, Claudia Goldin, Professeure à l'Université de Harvard, a reçu le Prix de la Banque de Suède en sciences économiques en mémoire d'Alfred Nobel, une récompense majeure qui célèbre non seulement l'importance de ses contributions à la discipline, mais souligne également l'impact profond de ses travaux sur la société. Parmi les domaines notables du travail de Claudia Goldin figurent l'analyse de l'écart salarial entre les sexes, la courbe en forme de U de la participation des femmes au marché du travail, et l'impact des choix éducatifs et professionnels sur les disparités de genre et les raisons de leur persistance.
