Abstract

The current design of campus buildings often originates from subjective considerations of architects, lacking in-depth exploration of user needs. This study utilizes the Kano two-dimensional quality model (Kano Model) to identify the quality attributes of school building from the perspective of users. These findings can serve as crucial references for future school construction designs. The sample for this study is taken from a metropolitan Type A school in the northern region, with parent feedback obtained through a questionnaire survey. It is recommended for future research to expand the sample size by including groups from different regions to obtain a more comprehensive understanding for the planning and design of campus buildings. Â JEL classification numbers: I28.
