Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nach der Wahl vom Juni 2017 in Großbritannien sind die Verhandlungen mit der EU nicht einfacher geworden. Die ersten beiden Verhandlungsrunden haben noch keine Ergebnisse gebracht. Es wird bis Ende März 2019, dem vom EU-Recht vorgegebenen Austrittszeitpunkt Großbritanniens, vor allem um die Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit, die Rechnung der EU über die britischen Verpflichtungen und die Gestaltung seiner Handelsbeziehungen zur EU gehen. Ob ein sogenannter harter Brexit wahrscheinlicher ist und was der Brexit für die EU und Großbritannien ökonomisch bedeutet, diskutieren die Autoren des Zeitgesprächs.
