Abstract

The subject of the article are the problems that arise in relation to the design and routine administrative processes in public administration, organized mainly along functional lines. Particular attention is paid to the impact of the current orders for the effectiveness of the project approach to policy development and implementation. Results of the analysis indicate significant potential for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the public administration system provided by the release of the design and routine processes from the functional environment, their diagnosis, optimization, as well as full or partial automation.
