Los factores de conversión y los recursos de la vivienda de interés social en la determinación de la calidad de vida

Abstract

Esta investigación analizó la calidad de vida de los usuarios de la vivienda de interés social en tres fraccionamientos del municipio de Durango utilizando el enfoque de las capacidades y funcionamientos de Amartya Sen. Los objetivos se centraron en calcular el indicador de bienestar con una visión más amplia a partir de los funcionamientos utilizando para esto, elementos tanto objetivos como subjetivos; y por último, verificar la incidencia de los recursos y los factores de conversión sobre la magnitud de la calidad de vida para potenciar los funcionamientos de los individuos. Para tales efectos se realizó se elaboró una medida resumen multidimensional de la calidad de vida de los usuarios de las tres zonas de estudio por medio del análisis de los componentes principales y finalmente, mediante el análisis de regresión lineal se determinó la incidencia de los factores de conversión y los recursos en el incremento o decremento del índice de bienestar calculado. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que más de la mitad de la población encuestada se ubicó en un nivel de calidad de vida alto, y que la incidencia de los recursos y factores de conversión, algunos de ellos afectan de manera considerable el índice de bienestar.
