Abstract

La adhesión a una estructura de valores que privilegia al Estado por encima del individuo se ha constituido en nuestros países en una especie de barrera de contención a las ideas liberales, lo que, lamentablemente, nos ha impermeabilizado a la positiva influencia de los valores que promueven el desarrollo, El presente ensayo tiene como objetivo aportar al derrumbe de tales muros mentales, presentando, de manera breve y sencilla, la visión filosófica de una de las prominentes figuras en la lucha por los derechos y las libertades de los individuos. Esperamos que este trabajo se constituya en una invitación para acercarse a las obras de Ayn Rand.
