Abstract

Los procedimientos de auditoría de gestión en las IES públicas del ecuador siguen el criterio metodológico de la realización de auditorías de este tipo, pero con la especificidad de lo que se trabaja en instituciones como estas, partiendo de los objetivos estratégicos para la Universidad y como se traducen en misiones y tareas para las funciones principales, Docencia, Investigación, Gestión financiera y Vinculación con la sociedad, reconociendo por tanto para cada función las pruebas de control, las sustantivas y las analíticas hasta llegar a plantear indicadores tipos que permitan medir los criterios de economía eficiencia y eficacia.
