Construcción de ventajas comparativas

Abstract

Actualmente el debate en Chile se ha centrado en las reformas que se piensan llevar a cabo en distintos ámbitos de nuestra sociedad, incluido el económico. Pero ¿Cómo debiera ser su política comercial e industrial? El comercio es parte fundamental de nuestra economía, en especial lo relacionado con el cobre (nuestra exportación insigne), tanto así que cuando cae su precio se ralentiza el crecimiento del país y se deprimen las expectativas de inversión. El propósito de este ensayo es explorar conceptos tales como las ventajas comparativas y política económica, y como esto puede influir en la matriz económica de nuestro país y en su desempeño.
