Satisfacción Laboral De Los Asalariados Inmigrantes

Abstract

Este artículo persigue identificar los factores explicativos del nivel de satisfacción laboral declarado por los asalariados en España, con especial atención a los diferenciales observados por condición de inmigrante. Las estimaciones efectuadas de un modelo probit ordenado, basadas en un pooling de datos procedentes de la Encuesta de Calidad de Vida en el Trabajo (ECVT) (1999-2004), muestran que, después de controlar por las características de los empleos, no se detectan diferenciales en satisfacción entre la población autóctona y la inmigrante. Un análisis más detallado señala que ello se debe a la inclusión como regresores de variables relacionadas con el salario, el desajuste de horas de trabajo, el contenido de la tarea, las perspectivas de futuro y el desajuste formativo.
