Eficiencia productiva y competitividad de la industria agroalimentaria andaluza
Abstract
RESUMEN: El objetivo fundamental de este trabajo es analizar la eficiencia productiva y competitividad de la industria agroalimentaria de Andalucía en el conjunto de las regiones españolas, estudiar las disparidades regionales existentes en la productividad del sector agroalimentario en el periodo 2001-2007 y detectar las potencialidades de la industria agroalimentaria andaluza. Las principales conclusiones obtenidas permiten identificar la enorme potencialidad económica del sector agroalimentario andaluz, aunque el escaso esfuerzo inversor de las empresas en este sector está limitando el posible crecimiento y consolidación de la productividad y competitividad del tejido productivo agroalimentario andaluz en el conjunto de las regiones españolas. ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is threefold: First, to analyze the productive efficiency and competitiveness of the food and agricultural industry in Andalusia within the framework of Spanish regions; second, to study the regional disparities in the productivity of this business during 2001-2007 and, finally, to detect its future potential development in the region of Andalusia. The main conclusions result in identifying the huge possible economic strength of Andalusian food and agri-business, although the limited investment of companies in this industry is restricting the potential growth and productivity and competitiveness consolidation of the Andalusian food and agricultural production in comparison with the rest of Spanish regions.Download Info
