    Abstract

    RESUMEN Este trabajo se centra en la importancia de las cuestiones regionales para la comprensión de la génesis de la innovación, analizando la dimensión regional de la I+D y la innovación a través de los factores o condicionantes que subyacen tras el éxito innovador de determinadas regiones en Europa y realizando un análisis de tipo comparativo de la innovación y el cambio técnico a través de indicadores regionales relacionados con estas actividades prestando especial atención a los resultados para Andalucía con la intención de conocer su posición relativa en el contexto de Europa. ABSTRACT This paper focuses on importance of regional questions to understand innovation, analysing the regional dimension of R&D and innovation activities through underlying factors or conditioners to explain some success regions in Europe and studying on a comparative view of the innovation and technical change some regional indicators, with special attention to Andalusian results.
