Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the present paper is to study foreign direct investments flows received by Spanish regions. Concretely, the purpose is double: first to asses their relative success in capturing that flows with a foreign direct investment relative index and secondly, their potential to attract foreign capital with an index collecting the fundamental localization advantages. Lastly we analyse the relationship for the different cases between effective and potential FDI.
