Abstract

[eng] Price formation and classical equilibrium : a preliminary investigation. . The purpose of the paper is a preliminary investigation of the problem of the formation of prices of production in the framework of what is called the theory of classical general economic equilibrium ; the assumption chosen is the smithian assumption of free competition.. The model and its treatment by numerical experiments exhibit the nature and scope of the difficulties met by the analysis of formation and stability of prices of the classical research program and suggest further possible theoretical progress. [fre] Formation des prix et équilibre classique. Un examen préliminaire. .
