L'exclusion des produits agroalimentaires du dispositif d'écolabellisation

Abstract

Les produits agro-alimentaires ont été exclus du champ d'application des écolabels français et européen. Les auteurs discutent les raisons qui ont justifié cette exclusion à la lumière (i) du contexte actuel de multiplication des allégations à connotation environnementale sur les produits agro-alimentaires (ii) des expériences étrangères visant à faire de l'écolabel agro-alimentaire un moyen d'orientation des choix des consommateurs et d'encouragement pour les entreprises en faveur de la préservation de l'environnement.
