Abstract

[eng] Cognitive approach of in-farm decisions of production : comparison to decision theories . Through a cognitive approach of in-farm decisions of production, the authors show the relationships beetwen farmers' representations, the way they collect and process informations, and the way they conceive and take a série of decisions. The authors enlighten how such an approach gives guidelines to study the way farmers' build risks representations and process them. They suggest how these results can be used to advice farmers in an interactive way through the combination of the comprehension of the farmer's management style and the design of a new one.
