Abstract

[fre] Dans le contexte d'auto-suffisance communautaire, cette étude essaye d'évaluer le niveau de compétitivité des structures de production du porc de la Belgique par rapport à celui des autres principales régions productrices. Après avoir déterminé des systèmes de production du porc et en avoir déduit les systèmes régionaux de production, il semble que la performance économique régionale est étroitement liée à la spécialisation et à la dimension, même si des systèmes peu spécialisés et très autarciques procurent parfois de bonnes marges unitaires. Les données du RICA, utilisées dans cette recherche, apparaissent peu adaptées à des analyses techni- co-économiques détaillées. [eng] A comparison of pig production systems performances. . Belgium in the E.E.C. context . Against the background of EEC self-sufficiency, this study tries to assess the competitiveness of pig production systems in the main producing areas. After having defined these pig production systems and having deduced regional production systems from them, it seams that the regional economic performance is closely linked to specialization and size, even though little specialized and very autarkic systems may sometimes yield satisfactory margins by produced unit Data of the F ADN, used in this research, appears not well adapted for a detailed technico-economic analysis.
