Abstract

This paper deals with the regional specialisation of the agricultural production in Spain and contains a comparative analysis of the situation in 1962 and 1971. The major production orientations available in Spain and their geographical Localisation were identified by making use of the principal component factor analysis techniques, account being made of the relative contribution of fifteen products to the final agricultural production of each of the fifty provinces in Spain.
