Abstract

Within an economy, entrepreneurship is a ubiquitous aspect of human action. Productive, unproductive or destructive entrepreneurship can be stimulated based on the perceived or expected rewards, and according to the rules of the game. This paper presents an analysis of how institutions increase entrepreneurial performance and create an advantageous environment for the well-being of society.
