The New Economic History: a Historical Retrospective Experience

Abstract

In this paper there is made a historical retrospect of the development of new economic history – an important area of neoinstitutional economic theory. There are revealed the logical stages through which it passes, its most prominent representatives and the basic research that traced its way through the last fifty years.
