Abstract

Con base en la importancia que representa la empresa familiar en el mundo, resulta oportuno desde el ámbito académico analizar sus características más representativas, a fin de estructurar estrategias que permitan mejorar su competitividad y sostenibilidad en el largo plazo. En este sentido, el presente documento expone un panorama general de este tipo de organizaciones, a fin de generar información estratégica que permita estructurar modelos de gestión y estructuras de gobierno corporativo para aprovechar sus ventajas competitivas a la vez que se garantiza su permanencia en el tiempo.
