Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the desirability of treating the participatory strategic planning of public organizations (PEPOP) with a focus on action research. This approach finds saved a particular interest for the application of action research in any process of change and organizational development that requires recourse to participatory techniques for its inspirational and life-changing wealth of organizational culture. Examines the relevance of the action research in participatory strategic planning for large organizations in the public sector. It describes how this methodology is being applied in the development of the PEIP in the FCE-UNER. On the other hand, it is argued about the usefulness of the methodology of action research in organizational transformation, it also allows closer links between applied research and consulting, which is an interesting way to explore by Universities, Public organizations, business and social organizations.
