Abstract

This study proposes a hedonic pricing model to measure the impact on housing prices caused by the proximity to Salvador Diaz Miron Avenue in Veracruz, Mexico. The results show that proximity to Diaz Mirón Avenue increases the property prices. The results suggest that a value capture strategy could be used to fund public transportation and urban mobility projects that have been postponed in this important corridor in the city of Veracruz.
