Abstract

Esta desarticulación es producto de la falta de un proyecto de nación que articule a la economía con estrategias de mediano y largo plazos/ The lack of national project is the linchpin of the abrupt changes in the industrial policy of Mexico from 1930 to the present day. It argues that although during the postrevolutionary era there was a national project, it was designed with a lack of political balances arising from independent unions or civil society, contributing to the overprotection of industrial business class without options to compete in the abroad and later became exposed their inefficiency after opening. Currently industrial policy in the neoliberal era is characterized by a collapse of globalization inserts sectors (big transnational Mexican or Factory-work industry) and sectors that are not (msmes over 90% of Mexican companies). This disruption is caused by the lack of a national project that links the economy with strategies for the medium and long term
