Desigualdad e inequidad social: resultados de la pandemia en México 2020-2021

Abstract

La economía mundial vive una crisis sanitaria, humana y económica sin precedentes que lamentablemente evoluciona crónicamente. Ante la pandemia de la enfermedad por coronavirus (COVID-19), las economías se colapsan y se paralizan dejando un cejo de incertidumbre a su paso. No obstante, a pesar de no saber con exactitud cuánto durará la crisis ni la forma que podría tener la recuperación, es inevitable un efecto en la desigualdad social y económico que polariza más una sociedad mexicana, ya de por sí carente de buenas expectativas. Por lo que es necesario generar una respuesta clara y contundente para contrarrestar los efectos negativos. (CEPAL, 2020)
