Abstract

This paper analyses the evolution of wages and employment in the Spanish manufacturingse sector, grouping workers accordingto their skills. Following the skill-biased technological change literature, I find evidence for a positive association of capital intensity with the wage-bill share of skilled workers in the period 1980-1992
