Abstract

The present article aims to organise the current status of research on investors' attention and the global stock market return, through a literature review analysis. The present study also aims to classify prior literature into several undertaken categories. To evaluate prior research, 120 research papers were selected. This article examines the link between investor attention and the global stock market, as well as the impact of investor attention on global stock market returns. The amount of work has increased from 2011 to 2022 eventually attracting a lot of attention since then. According to the findings of previous studies, there is a link between investor attention and stock market results, and investor attention has an adverse impact on global stock returns, except in a few cases when it has a favourable impact. Most studies were done in the USA and China. Researchers and other interested parties will benefit from this study.
