Abstract

Knowledge management is currently a need in all organizations that interact in highly competitive environments. Turning knowledge into a productive resource is what distinguishes one organization from another. In this context academic bodies of the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco will be used to propel transfer and knowledge management. Academic Bodies have been changing gradually towards a position in the local, state and national scope, because they are generators of knowledge and have assumed an important role as indicators in public universities. The quality of education in academic bodies is seen as a well-trained teacher; developing lines of knowledge which have links with the problems of the country, state or municipality. The objective of this research is to analyze performance of the academic staff in the period 2004-2014 and its relation to knowledge management. This is a longitudinal descriptive and documentary research of secondary sources
