Abstract

The article examines the European experience of recognizing the skills and competencies acquired in the framework of non-formal and informal learning. The analysis showed that the validation procedures in many countries are not characterized by a systematic approach. The competence verification procedure can be carried out for inclusion in the formal education system, as well as integration in the labor market. The article was written on the basis of the RANEPA state assignment research programme.
