    Abstract

    Les mutations auxquelles l’industrie musicale est actuellement confrontée s’expliquent en grande partie par les évolutions profondes que connaît la pratique d’écoute de musique enregistrée. Grâce à Internet et à la numérisation, les auditeurs sont maintenant en mesure d’écouter de la musique à chaque moment de leur vie quotidienne. Or cette évolution, si elle est conforme au nouvel esprit du capitalisme décrit par Boltanski et Chiapello, vient remettre en question les modalités de valorisation marchande de la création musicale. Alors même que les individus n’ont jamais écouté autant de musique enregistrée, la filière se trouve elle dans l’obligation de se réinventer pour être en phase avec ces changements.
