L?evoluzione del sistema di formazione e di istruzione in Italia: un difficile percorso tra crisi economica e strategie europee

Abstract

Nell?ultimo decennio il sistema di formazione e d?istruzione in Italia ha sub?to profonde modifiche che ne hanno ridisegnato l?impianto. Il presente lavoro s?inserisce nel dibattito sulla politica e l?economia dell?istruzione, analizzando le principali performance ottenute dal sistema italiano in un ottica di comparazione a livello europeo ed alla luce dei recenti rapporti pubblicati da organismi statistici nazionali ed internazionali. Come noto, la strategia "Europa 2020" adottata dall?Unione Europea all?inizio del decennio, ha come obiettivo la crescita intelligente, sostenibile ed inclusiva, e ha come driver proprio la formazione e l?istruzione. Il quadro qui delineato dall?analisi dei dati appare negativamente influenzato dall?attuale fase di recessione economica e, pertanto, ancora distante dagli obiettivi concordati a livello europeo.
