Eficiencia del gasto público entre las universidades mexicanas y sus determinantes: Análisis Envolvente de Datos (AED) con aplicación de modelos semi-paramétricos en dos etapas

Abstract

Se busca contribuir a la discusión sobre la eficiencia en las Universidades públicas Estatales (Upes) de méxico. con base en el enfoque metodológico de Simar y Wilson (2007), se utiliza el análisis Envol-vente de Datos (dea) y un modelo de regresión truncada con remuestreo (bootstrapping) para evaluar el desempeño de las 34 Upes en 2015 y los factores determinantes que explican cambios en la eficiencia comparando con 2017. Los resultados muestran evidencia de que el pib per cápita, la tasa de po-breza y la tasa de migración interestatal son aspectos del entorno que impactan de manera exógena la eficiencia institucional; mientras que aspectos institucionales como profesores de tiempo completo, número de investigadores, antigüedad de la institución y matrícula de mujeres presentan efectos en los niveles de eficiencia.
