Motivasyonda Kullanilan Ozendirme Araclarinin Is Doyumuna Etkileri: Bes ve Dort Yildizli Otel Isletmelerinde Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Emek-yogun bir sektor olan turizm sektorundeki otel isletmelerinde hizmeti satin alan musteriyle hizmeti sunan calisanin yuz yuze olmasindan dolayi isgucu, ozellikle de is doyumu buyuk onem tasimaktadir. Cunku, konaklama isletmelerinde calisanlarin is doyumu, musterinin memnuniyeti, hizmetin kalitesi ve dolayisiyla da isletmenin basarisina dogrudan etki etmektedir. Calisanlarin doyumunu saglamak icin motivasyonlarina buyuk onem vermek gerekmektedir. Calisanlarin motivasyonunu ise en etkili bicimde onlarin ihtiyaclarina yonelik ozendirme araclariyla saglamak mumkundur. Bu cercevede arastirmanin amaci, otel isletmelerinde motivasyon amaciyla kullanilan ozendirme araclarinin is doyumuna etkilerinin saptanip, analiz edilmesidir. Konu, Izmir’deki bes ve dort yildizli otel isletmelerinin calisanlari uzerinde, bir alan arastirmasiyla incelenmistir. Arastirma sonucunda, otel isletmelerinde ekonomik, sosyal, psikolojik, orgutsel-yonetsel olmak uzere dort grup altinda toplanan ozendirme araclarinin is doyumuyla iliskilerinin ve etkilerinin onemli duzeyde oldugu saptanmistir.
