Programmes de nutrition en milieu rural aux Philippines

Abstract

Résumé L'analyse de la relation entre les programmes de nutrition et la population de la Municipalité de Plaridel révèle que le Programme Philippin de Nutrition planifie et exécute les interventions avec une certaine distance par rapport à leurs bénéficiaires virtuels. Par conséquent, la population cible considère que ces programmes ne répondent pas à ses besoins et participe très faiblement. D'autre part, les programmes n'ont pas modifié de manière significative le niveau de malnutrition de la population pré-scolaire et ils sont loin d'atteindre les objectifs à court terme fixés en 1977. Cependant, Plaridel dispose de ressources sociales capables de devenir les supports des interventions dans la mesure où celles-ci se développent avec la population et reposent sur les besoins et les capacités locales.
