Coherent-anomaly method—recent development

Abstract

The coherent-anomaly method (CAM), a general scheme for studying critical phenomena, is reviewed with emphasis on the recent developments, particularly on some applications to (i) extended Ising models with continuously-varying critical exponents and (ii) quantum spin systems at the ground state.
