The market for kerojet fuel in the United States

Abstract

This paper presents a structural model of the market for kerojet fuel in the United States. Upon empirical estimation, it demonstrates that more kerojet output is forthcoming as the price of kerojet increases relative to the price of other refined petroleum products. Imports of kerojet into the United States increase as the domestic price of kerojet increases relative to the world price. Finally, the quantity of kerojet demanded falls in a small, but perceptible, way as its price increases.
