Aproximación A La Dinámica Exportadora De Australia Reciente. Un Ejercicio De Comparación Con Argentina

Abstract

Históricamente, Australia fue un país cuya trayectoria desde fines de siglo XIX fue utilizada para comparar con el caso argentino. Se señala que, partiendo de puntos similares, los oceánicos lograron una performance más estable que la de los sudamericanos. Por ello, su política comercial es citada como ejemplo para Argentina. Aquí, analizamos esa comparativa mediante el estudio de la matriz exportadora de ambas naciones, enfocándonos en las principales exportaciones, su volumen y destinos. Esperamos con ello aportar elementos que permitan determinar si la experiencia australiana es repetible en la Argentina, o si se debe reflexionar, en otros términos.
