Abstract

(VA)This article discusses the relevance and legitimacy of the accompaniment research, as a new research approach of the reality. The empirical research which serves as discussion support is a contractual, multidisciplinary and collective research about the relocation of the supplies in the public catering, where both private and public actors have been committed. The contribution of the authors is situated at two levels: (1) the positioning of accompaniment research beside other practices; it underlines the necessity of distinguishing the accompaniment research from the intervention research or from the participative observation; (2) the analysis of the theoretical foundations, the methodological contributions and impacts for the collective action driving.
