За Пътеките, Истините И Живота На Бенжамен Варон

Abstract

В настоящата статия се разглежда съдбата на един от малко известните, но високо ерудирани икономисти и философи в България, какъвто е доц. д-р Бенжамен Израел Варон. Представени са неговите възгледи за развитието на социализма преди 1989 г. в страната и в Европа. Изяснена е ролята на социалистическите и социалдемократическите партии за това развитие. Посочени са причините за края на социализма в Източна Европа. Отделя се внимание на позицията на учения относно Вашингтонския консенсус и появата на неолиберализма като съвременна парадигма на икономическата политика. Акцентира се върху разбирането му за социалната реформация и трансформация на капитализма. Обръща се внимание на неговото мнение за глобализацията и нейното влияние върху съвременното общество, както и за разликата между глобализация и глобализъм. Изложени са и представите му за изграждането на едно ново общество, основано на нови социално-икономически отношения.
