La ensenanza en economía: una reflexión desde la perspectiva del contenido

Abstract

El artículo busca aportar en la reflexión acerca de la ensenanza en economía, desde la perspectiva del contenido. Es evidente que no se puede encontrar una "receta mágica" y que las diversas opiniones deben encontrar un espacio dentro de este tipo de propuestas; pero sí se puede llegar a un acuerdo doctrinal que permita un análisis profundo de la ciencia por sí misma. Partiendo de la idea de que la teoría del equilibrio general (TEG) es el núcleo de la teoría económica, al cual debe realizársele un estudio profundo y crítico, se plantea que se debe tomar esta teoría como la base de la ensenanza, que, además, debe estar nutrida por las doctrinas de pensamiento económico, con el fin de dar criterios suficientes a los estudiantes. El artículo termina con una propuesta de formación de los economistas.
