Análisis del clima organizacional en las empresas del sector palmero de la región Caribe colombiana

Abstract

Estudiar el clima organizacional permite construir empresas más humanizadas, en las que se tiene en cuenta el talento humano y se favorece el desarrollo integral de las personas, lo cual redunda en el nivel de productividad laboral. El objetivo de este estudio fue describir el clima organizacional en cuatro empresas del sector palmero de la región Caribe colombiana. Se trata de una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población objeto de estudio fueron 1 234 empleados del sec tor palmero, se aplicó la fórmula de muestreo aleatorio estratificado, en la que se obtuvo una muestra de 301 funcionarios administrativos y técnicos. Para la evaluación, se utilizó el instrumento para medir clima en organizaciones colombianas (imcoc) adaptado, que evalúa 4 dimensiones de caracterización, condiciones de trabajo, entorno laboral y comportamiento organizacional. El instrumento fue aplicado a través del software Quick. Como resultado, se obtuvo que el clima organizacional es favorable. De manera general, se evidencia que los factores más relevantes para los empleados son el salario, buen trato, posibilidades de superación y trabajo en equipo. Del análisis realizado se puede concluir que en un clima organizacional favorable se debe priorizar la asignación salarial de los emplea-dos, la infraestructura de la empresa y aspectos intangibles, como las relaciones interpersonales, la comunicación, el liderazgo y las estrategias de resolución de conflictos.******Studying the organizational climate allows building more humanized companies, which take into consideration the human talent and favor integral development of people, which is reflected in the level of labor productivity. The goal of the objective was to describe the organizational climate in four companies in the palm farming sector in the Colombian Caribbean region. This is a quantitative descriptive cross-sectional research. The target population included 1234 employees in the palm farming sector, using a stratified random sampling, obtaining a sample from 301 administrative and technical staff members. This evaluation included the (imcoc) adapted instrument, used to measure organizational climate in Colombian businesses, which assesses four characterization dimensions, work conditions, labor environment and organizational behavior. The instrument was applied using the software Quick. As a result, it was found that the organizational climate is favorable. Generally, it is evidence that the most relevant factors for employees are salary, good treatment, promotion possibilities and teamwork. From the analysis, it was concluded that in a favorable organizational climate the elements to be prioritized are the employees’ salaries, the company infrastructure, and some intangible aspects such as interpersonal relationships, communication, leader-ship and conflict resolution strategies.******Estudar o clima organizacional permite construir empresas mais humanizadas, nas quais o talento humano é levado em consideracao e o desenvolvimento integral das pessoas é favorecido, o que resulta no nível de produtividade do trabalho. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever o clima organizacional em quatro empresas do setor de palma do Caribe colombiano. É uma pesquisa quantitativa, descritiva e transversal. A populacao em estudo foi de 1.234 funcionários do setor de palma, foi aplicada a fórmula de amostragem aleatória estratificada, na qual foi obtida uma amostra de 301 funcionários administrativos e técnicos. Para a avaliacao, foi utilizado o instrumento de medicao do clima em organizacoes colombianas (imcoc) de forma adaptada, que avalia 4 dimensoes de caracterizacao, condicoes de trabalho, ambiente de trabalho e comportamento organizacional. O instrumento foi aplicado por meio do software Quick. O resultado foi um clima organizacional favorável. De maneira geral, fica evidente que os fatores mais relevantes para os funcionários sao o salário, o bom tratamento, as possibilidades de superacao e o trabalho em equipe. A partir da análise realizada, pode-se concluir que, em um clima organizacional favorável, a distribuicao salarial, a infraestrutura da empresa e os aspectos intangíveis, como relacionamento interpessoal, comunicacao, lideranca e estratégias de resolucao de conflitos, devem ser priorizados.
